Updates and Known Issues: Updated Sept 13, 2022

Updates – Admin side unless otherwise stated

  • Is Trial has been moved to the first position when setting up a conference.
    • This was done in order to prevent technical errors when setting up the rest of the conference
  • Limits have been surfaced for both Trial and Paid accounts
    • This was done to allow some leeway for trial accounts and to gatekeep paid conferences with pay per feature items.
  • One day conferences can now be created
    • It is currently in the dev environment but will be pushed to production as soon as the new email features are complete
  • Scheduler popup – Start and End times now show full range of hours
  • Various dropdowns issues have been fixed
  • Scheduler popup has been reorganized in tabs to make it easier to navigate
  • Drag and Drop now works with the Unlayer Editor
  • Screenshots now upload to the Unlayer Editor
  • Added total swag counter in swag tab
  • Size recommendations for images have been added in various areas
  • Participants misspelling in Speed Networking has been corrected
  • Networking-Create Topic: Default Maximum/Minimum number of participants are defaulted to the same number
  • Time zone removed from Add user dialog
    • We have auto time zone detection now
  • Time zone offsets should be corrected
  • Character limits for tracks have been added
  • Scheduling Breakout session error cut off has been corrected
  • Account already exists has been added if user tries to sign up for a trial again
  • Trial signup messaging has been added after conference creation to let the user know to check emails for the next steps
  • Back button in sponsor booth now takes you back to the Expo hall page instead of back to the Scheduler page

 

Known Issues

  • Unlayer Editor width is currently defaulted to 500px which is very narrow causing font and images to shrink.
    • Workaround: Click on the Body tab and scroll down to Content Width. Standard width is 960px

  • Speed Networking Topic information only displays in a hidden area in Admin
  • Booths B, C, and E are not fully functioning
    • Only images can be uploaded
    • Booths E needs to be corrected
  • Unable to delete background image in Customization
  • No Conference Message is unclear
  • Color Picker color coding inconstancies some have RGB or HEX
  • Update Activity button only shows in the staff tab
  • Sync Refresh icons should not be clickable
  • Left nav needs the ability to open and close
  • Attendee manager: Name Editing
  • Expo Hall: Header and Sub header should not be required
    • This only displays if there is more than one expo hall
  • All Trial sign up questions can be skipped
  • Logout Screen has the old VCM logo
  • Create Swag needs a “!” icon next to the general tab to let users know that an error is on the general tab
    • Workaround: If you click and don’t know why it is not being added click on the General tab and the errors will show there
  • When editing a schedule item the Session Label Type defaults back to Conference
    • Workaround: You can go back and reselect the label of your choice and click save for it to be corrected
  • Registration form: Clicking checkboxes for Enabled/Required forces the editor to open
