How To Join A Live Event (Producer)

Learn how to join a live event as a producer with this quick instructional video!

Transcript:

To join a Teams Live Event as a producer, you will first need to find the email invite that was sent to you when the session was created. This will more than likely be from a OneVenue address, but could be organization-specific if the conference organizer has an enterprise license. If you can't find it in your inbox, please check your spam folder as it could've been incorrectly marked as spam. If you're still unable to find it, please contact the conference organizer or a customer success manager for assistance.

Within the email, you will see a "Join live event" link. Go ahead and click that and make sure to launch the Teams desktop app. The desktop app is required to enter the producer or presenter view of a Teams Live Event. If you attempt to join with a web client, it will just take you to the attendee view.

Keep in mind, you may need to switch your tenant in Teams to the OneVenue tenant in order to enter the event. And that's it! Once you're in the back-end of the event, you're ready to produce!
